We recently hosted our event at The Hall at Marthall, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The venue itself was absolutely lovely and met all of our needs. It provided the ideal space for our celebration, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that made everyone feel comfortable. One of the highlights was the gorgeous setting. The beautiful outdoor space was a stunning backdrop for our pictures, and the grounds really added to the magic of the day. A huge shout-out to Liz, who was simply fantastic throughout the entire process. She was always available whenever we needed her, and went out of her way to ensure every detail was just right. Her dedication made the day run seamlessly, and we can’t thank her enough for making our event as perfect as it was. If you’re looking for a beautiful venue with outstanding service, The Hall at Marthall is an excellent choice!


Millie - Exceptional service and a fantastic space

Last Saturday 8 June we hired Marthall Village Hall for my daughter's princess-themed birthday party. From the moment we inquired about the venue until the end of our event you provided exceptional service and a fantastic space that contributed greatly to the success of our celebration. The booking process was smooth and straightforward. You were extremely helpful and accommodating, which made the planning process easier. The hall itself was spacious, clean, and beautifully maintained. It provided the perfect setting for our princess-themed party, with ample room for decorations and entertainment. The ambiance of the hall was ideal for our theme. With its versatile layout, we were able to transform the space into a magical princess wonderland. The venue was perfect for our princess-themed party and contributed to an unforgettable event for my daughter and her friends. Thank you Liz for helping make our celebration a magical and memorable one!


Vic and Diane - Few public buildings can compare

Few public buildings can compare with the standard and facilities available at Marthall Village Hall. We hired the event for my wifes 70th birthday celebration. The booking process was simple, and all communication was answered quickly. The space is very flexible so suitable for everything from a small family gathering and private meetings through to upwards of 100 guests. All equipment is maintained to a very high standard, and the hall was exceedingly clean, warm and well decorated. The process for opening the hall, finding the lights, and tables/chairs is clearly documented and easy to follow. For caterers, the kitchen is to commercial standards with ample heating cupboards, fridges, freezer and prep area. A bar can be provided as an extra. There may be less expensive halls available to hire, but few in Cheshire that can equal the facilities or ambience. Ten out of ten in all respects - we will certainly book again. Maria - We had the most fabulous day at the Hall at Marthall

We had the most fabulous day at the Hall at Marthall, celebrating our marriage. Nicky and Liz were both so lovely and helpful. The hall has great facilities and is a perfect venue for any wedding party. Our DIY wedding was absolutely perfect , it was just what we wanted, low key and very informal. We decorated the hall ourselves, with simple bunting and paper lanterns and lots of fresh flowers. The garden outside is lovely with lots of space for hay bales, gazebos and outdoor games. The 'pimp your prosecco bar' went down a storm, the food was absolutely delicious provided by Mark from the Treacle Town Pie company in Macclesfield and to finish off the day the fantastic band Hustle were AMAZING. We can't recommend the hall enough, we had the perfect day celebrating with family and friends. If you want me to send through some photos just let me know.

The Hall at Marthall is a hidden gem. It is always spotlessly clean, is Covid safe and has all the facilities you could wish for in a village hall, perfect for many purposes. However, it is the main hall that gives an extra edge. The floor to ceiling windows and patio doors in the main hall provide a glorious view of the beautiful garden. Particularly during 2020, this added ventilation provided us all with extra reassurance. Liz and her team cannot do enough for anyone. Professional, reliable and friendly, Liz keeps communication open and easy when organising any event. I would highly recommend this venue.

Marthall was the perfect venue for our wedding reception. It had all the facilities we needed plus a lovely outdoor space. We had a pizza oven on the grass outside in the evening and everyone loved the patio and outdoor area when they needed a break from the dance floor. The hall is lovely and modern and allowed us to put our own touches on the wedding reception. The hall were really flexible, allowing us plenty of time to set up the day before and get cleared up the day after. Thank you Marthall!

The Hall at Marthall is perfect for our meetings. The venue is very spacious, comfortable and modern. The fold back screens make the hall suitable for quick changes and give us flexibility when our delegate numbers change. The location and parking is ideal and with the hall's modern equipment and fantastic kitchens we are able to provide exactly what our delegates need.

We use the hall on a regular basis (normally every week), on our new driver induction course. The facilities are ideal, we use the kitchen, main hall and meeting room. The free Wi-Fi facility is excellent and enables us to connect to the internet with great ease. It is kept immaculately clean and tidy at all times. It is in an ideal location only a few minutes away from the depot at Chelford with great surroundings. I would have no hesitation in recommending the hall for any use. Nicky and her team can’t do enough to help and are very friendly. Overall no issues at all and we only receive compliments from the students that we teach there.

There aren't enough words to describe what a perfect Wedding reception we had at the Hall at Marthall. Nicky and Liz were both so lovely to deal with and without their recommendations we wouldn't have booked the brilliant Jayne Rudd who catered our afternoon tea Wedding meal. Everyone involved was so helpful and made the whole experience even better. The hall has such brilliant facilities it made it the obvious choice for our relaxed and low key Wedding reception. It is the perfect place to have a DIY Wedding where you can decorate yourself, without feeling too restricted like you would in a hotel. The garden outside the hall was lovely, plenty of space for our outdoor games and picnic blankets. We honestly couldn't recommend the hall more, we had the most amazing day with all our family and friends who are all asking when can we go back to the hall and do it all again!

Absolutely perfect location for my son’s christening, with the gate for security and the fields to run around in the children were happy which meant the adults could relax too. The bar was great along with the beautiful hall and the doors opening out onto the patio on a summers day, it was glorious. Everything felt new and clean and I would not hesitate to book here again. We organised a surprise party at the Hall at Marthall which was a great success. Nicky and the team were really helpful, meeting us at the venue early, organising the bar and helping with recommendations of reliable companies previously used at the Hall for catering and cleaning. The hiring of the hall itself was very easy with communications over email answered promptly. The venue was clean and has everything you could need including a fully licenced bar and catering kitchen, dance floor and music system. We are just trying to decide what party we can throw there next!

Just to say thanks for a lovely hall. Our meetings of approx 80 people have always been very comfortable, and guests have complimented us on the facilities. The facilities are always kept in a clean and working condition. The kitchen is a joy to work in, with a nice new range added in recently means we can cater for our guests with no difficulty.
